Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Become a Vendor

1. How do I sign up as a vendor on WeftKart?

To sign up, click on the “Become a Vendor” button and complete the registration form. You’ll need to provide business and KYC details, such as your GST number and address proof. Once approved, you can start selling on WeftKart.

2. What documents are required for vendor registration?

Vendors must provide the following documents:

  • Mobile Number & Email ID
  • GST Registration (if applicable)
  • Aadhar Card / PAN Card
  • Address Proof
  • Business Proof (if applicable)

3. Is there a registration fee for vendors?

Yes, there is a ₹3000 registration fee. This covers the listing of up to 200 products by the WeftKart team. After 200 products, each additional listing costs ₹15.

4. How does the commission work?

WeftKart charges a 10% commission on each successful order. There are no charges for canceled or RTO (Return to Origin) orders.

5. Can I list products by myself?

No, vendors cannot list products independently. The WeftKart team handles product listings based on the details provided by the vendor.

6. What are the shipping and tracking requirements?

Vendors must confirm and ship orders within 2-3 days of receiving them. You must update tracking information within 5 days to avoid order cancellation.

7. How do I get paid for my orders?

For COD orders, you collect payment from the customer directly. For prepaid orders, WeftKart deducts a 10% commission and transfers the remaining balance to your bank account.

8. Is branding with WeftKart mandatory for shipping?

Yes, all products must be shipped with WeftKart-branded packaging and invoices. Failure to comply may result in penalties or account suspension.

9. What is the return policy for vendors?

You must accept returns within 7 days for damaged or incorrect items. Customers are required to provide a 360-degree video as proof for a smoother return process.

10. Can I cancel an order after it's been placed?

If a product is unavailable or delayed, you must cancel the order within 5 days. Frequent cancellations may lead to penalties, including a 2% fee per order.
